Pierce Freelon is the co-founder of Beat Making Lab, an Emmy-award winning PBS web-series. Equipped with an electronic music studio small enough to fit in a backpack, Freelon has traveled the world teaching Hip Hop and music production to youth in community centers, from Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo; to his home in North Carolina, United States.
