Pierce Freelon is the co-founder of Beat Making Lab, an Emmy-award winning web-series produced by PBS Digital Studios. Equipped with an electronic music studio small enough to fit in a backpack, Freelon has traveled the world teaching Hip Hop and music production to youth in community centers, from Fiji and Democratic Republic of the Congo, to his home in North Carolina.
